This year, The Log Cabin Charity proudly celebrates its 45th anniversary—a remarkable milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to children, young people and families in our community. For four and a half decades, we have provided a safe, inclusive space where children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities, can play, learn, and thrive.
However, we are aware of growing concerns regarding the future of our services due to the ongoing consultation on The Log Cabin Children’s Centre.
Clarifying the Situation: The Log Cabin Charity is Here to Stay
The Log Cabin Children’s Centre is currently under public consultation, with a decision expected by June. While the outcome remains uncertain, we want to reassure our community that The Log Cabin Charity operates independently from the children’s centre and is not directly affected by this consultation.
Our work continues as usual, and we remain as committed as ever to providing high-quality support and play opportunities for children, young people and families.
Looking Ahead with Optimism
As we mark this special anniversary, we reflect on our past achievements and look forward to the future with hope and determination. The Log Cabin Charity is here to stay, and we will continue working hard to ensure that children and young people in Ealing have a place where they feel safe, valued, and supported.
We deeply appreciate the incredible support from our community over the years. Your involvement—whether through volunteering, donations, or spreading the word—has been instrumental in keeping our mission alive.
We will keep you updated as more information becomes available regarding the consultation. In the meantime, let’s celebrate 45 years of making a difference—and many more to come!
