Afterschool Club

The After School Club offers integrated play for mainstream children, as well as children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, aged 5-15.

Our purpose-built facilities offer an exciting playground, multi-use games area for sports, play structures, sand and water play, accessible swings, as well as quieter garden areas. Inside there is a large hall, soft-play room, arts & crafts room, multi-use games room, reading room and a multi-sensory room. Also, children enjoy a two-course home-cooked meal.

We can provide places for some children who require 1:1 support.

Please contact your Social Worker to find out if you are eligible for short breaks funding to attend services provided by the Log Cabin Charity.

How We Work

Step 1

Show your Interest

Clicking one of our register buttons will take you to a simple form to fill out. This provides us some basic information.

Step 2

Assessment

One of our team will be in touch to carry out an assessment on your child’s abilities and needs at the Log Cabin Charity.

Step 3

Setup

Once the registration process is complete. We’ll give you options and times for the type of activity they’ll be doing.

Step 4

Have Fun

With everything set up, we’ll give you your child’s schedule. After that can join in the fun.

We are SEN specialists, but our service is open to everyone. We believe in inclusivity to build resilient children. Most importantly, we believe all children should get the opportunity to play and have fun!
